As the refuge for the mini war between the rouge and the struggling clan stood silent for night and to dawn, brining th Sun, Gunner meditated. It calmed him but it did nothing to ease his temptation to claw those mothers on the other side of the River. The black tom's olive orbed gaze swept the dug tunnels as barriers from the above surface. Sure it was a stupid place to set up camp but they had escape routes. With a longing gaze he turned from the sun to the dug tunnels in the muddy soil, hearing the apprentice in the nursery did not please him either. He knew was heavy with two kits, more mouths to feed. The only thing wrong is that it was his apprentice. He couldn't train her if his life depended on it. The deputy sighed and slowly made his way to the medicine den.

Elysianradiance was just organizing some of her herbs. She stacked old bad herbs by her side as she picked them out from her good stack of herbs. Her deep clear blue eyes were calm but she wanted to maybe go meet her mate, Gunpowder. He had seemed pretty stressed lately. She smiled softly as she was happy for him to be deputy. He deserved it. Her long feathery tail swished behind her as the beautiful dark gray black she-cat began to hum a small sweet melody with her head slowly tipping with the rythmn of the song.

Citypaw bounced between two piles of herbs, switching them around, "This is goldenrod which should be with the goldenrod, not the marigold!" She mewed, and nosed a couple leaves into the other pile.

A large stern male walked through the camp. His dark green eyes watching over his clanmates. He couldn't help but let a small grin spread across his jaws. He was sometimes known as cold hearted, but that was because of the war and no one could blame him from that. Various scars layered his body as he moved toward his deputy. He took no notice of the medicine cat or the apprentice of the cat. "Hello Gunpowder. How is prey running this leaf-bare?" Constructivestar asked in his famous deep voice as his cinnamon colored pelt fit his large body quite nicely.

Elysianradiance's dark colored ears pricked as she turned a bright smile at her hyper apprentice before seeing the familiar built of her mate. The smile on her maw grew bigger as she heard his question. She purred and leaned to whisper in his ear. "Five." she murmured before leaning away and turning her deep blue gaze back at Constructivestar. She wasn't sure what to say to him but he didn't seem to notice her. She narrowed her eyes before turning back to her herbs with her paws quick in work.

Gunner nodded, "Be careful." The black cat looked to the stern, ginger tom He dipped his head, "Hey, well the clan is doing fine but we need more apprentices and warriors. Our clan can't survive the way it is."
