Talkie yawned ans stretched as he arose from his comfy nest. He proudly walked out of the den and trotted to the high rock. He laid on the tip of it, watching his clanmates bustle to and fro. He called out, "Morn, RiverClan!" He saw his two kits waddle out of the nursery. One was a tortishell harquelin she-cat, her name was Pheasantkit. The other's was a spiky albino tom-kit, he was Daykit.
The two kits looked up at their father and waved their tails. He sighed, they were growing so big. He watched them as the two kits raced off.
