Crunch, crunch, crunch

Sparkstar was so sick of that sound when her paws it the ground, slushing into the watering snow and plastering all over her fur. But she needed a walk, some time to think about the day and relax......If possible. She hated leaf-bare! And leave to her thick pelt to soak up every snowflake that landed on her.

"Ah!" She jumped up as she felt a drop of slush fall from the trees and land on her back, sending shock waves of cold through her body and startling her. "I hate this,,," Sparkstar trudged to a river, watching the partly frozen water. It wasn't as slushy here, so she sat and simply watched the water, enjoying the little waves that was sometimes form for a second.

Sadly, and desperately Blackpaw rummaged through the snow and frost covered herbs, GAHH! Crap, she was p.ssed. With bags under her sightless eyes she heard a yelp.

Curiously, she followed the scent trail to a snowed in leader, Sparkstar, is that you? She followed, taking careful steps, tripping over few obstacles next to Sparkstar by the river's shore.

"Ah, Blackpaw!" The maine-coon turned to the apprentice, dipping her head in greeting. "I'm guessing your out searching for herbs huh?" She pity the young cat, looking for herbs in the frozen forest. "Any luck?"

Blackpaw sighed, "Hey Sparkstar.... Good thing Green-leaf's here. Good grief sometimes I just wanna do away with winter." The ginger apprentice sighed and shook her head, "No luck, a while ago I went to get some herbs from ThunderClan. I got what I wanted but still need a mentor, think you can find a good medicine cat mentor for me?"
