Low pressure zone [P Cheetah]

A heavy set male walked through the forest. Occasionally his maine coon fur got stuck on a branch but he easily shook it off. His green-blue gaze glanced around supsiciously around the area thinking that their might be intruders in the territory. He kept his head high because of his rank and because of his personality. He worked hard to achieve this rank and would keep it that way. At the thought of his clan being hurt, he let a angry snarl slip through the gaps that were in between his deadly jaws. His long furred tail flicked behind him as he moved west, toward the pool where the river that ran through their territory stopped for a minute before continuing. There was indeed fish there, but he wasn't a Riverclanner so he just enjoyed watching them. Risestar let his paws land heavily on the ground, because it was hard for him to sometimes be silent thanks to his large body. He soon came to the pool and sat down his flank onto the cold grass. The pool was almost frozen over thanks to leaf-bare at the moment, and the fish seemed to be closer to the bottom to avoid getting stuck in the ice. At that he let a chuckle escape his chest cavity and flicked his long tail behind him.

The world seemed like a frozen paradise. The way the tiny snowflakes seemed like sparkling stars in the ground. Oh life was good. Her pale creamy nimble paws were silent as she tried not to crunch into the snow[?] Her bright clear aqua blue eyes gleamed with a fire as the long legged elegant copper-red brown bengal was just wandering around. Her silky fur was tipped with the frozen liquid as she trotted around and her soft ears pricked as she suddenly heard a rustle near by. Prey? She smiled brightly as hoping but noticed dark brown tabby fur. She deflated for a second as she wanted to feed her clan but smiled brightly as she noticed it was Risestar. Retrostyle slithered through the undergrowth and saw her leader sit down. She cocked her head and spotted the pond. A march of goosebumps went down her spine as she hated water. She took a deep breath and took a step out from the darkness as she greeted "Hello Risestar!"

The Maine Coon ear's perked listening to all the sounds around him. This is what made it hard to sneak up onto this feline as he was always on alert, even when you though he was sleeping. He twitched his long feathery tail on the ground as he calmly watched the fish at the bottom of the pond. Then something else got his attention, it wasn't something that he was looking out, instead it was something that he heard. Risestar quickly lifted his head and turned to see a familiar bengal walking through the snow. A warm smile spread across his jaws as he recognized the deputy. He dipped his large head in respect for the she-cat, and also out of kindness as he could also be considered as a gentleman. "Greetings Retrostyle, how are you doing this fine leaf-bare?" It was ironic because it wasn't really a fine leaf-bare as thats where prey was scarce and it took a while to get around. Most of the cats with different colored pelts had a hard time hunting because the prey could easily catch them out like a sore thumb. He was one of those cats that was having trouble, but he was kind that could adapt.

Her own dark fur stuck out too with her exotic markings awkward against the plain white snow. She puffed her silky short fur to absorb more warmth as her clear gleeful blue eyes showed only positive light as she carefully settled herelf down beside the large brown tabby and dipped her head respectfully before replying "Not so well, Rise. I can't feel my ears but I'll survive. How are you?" She smiled brightly and playfully.

The large male couldn't help but chuckle at the she-cats comment. He watched with his blue-green orbs as she walked over toward him. She did indeed stick out like a sore thumb due to the snow, well so did he with his different hues of brown that covered his long fur. He moved his long furred tail around the snow until it was around his paws. The thing was, thanks to this long fur, he was quite warm during this season, while most of the short furred cats were struggling to keep warm. His ears twitched as he listened for anyone else who might be around but he couldn't hear anything except a couple cherps here and there in the distance. "It'll be over soon, so you won't need to worry about that. Now if bengals had long fur, then you wouldn't be in this predicament." Indeed it came off as a joking way and his deputy hopefully knew that because they spent a lot of time together, and he enjoyed it. "I'm alright I guess, thanks for asking. As always I'm stressing." He didn't particularly say what because he wanted her to ask him because it gave them a chance to make the conversation go on loner.

Her aquarime blue eyes narrowed with confusion but noticed the joke and laughed with her gaze now glinting with that sparky mischeif. She quickly curled her unusually long marked tail around her pale cream colored paws and aimed to playfully head-butt the large tom's shoulder. "Guess you're right! Why do you always have to be right?" She asked innocently with a cock of her head as she mocked him but nicely. She smiled and turned her striped head back to her usual spot and queered "And why is that? Is something bothering you? Want me to deal with it?" She said the last part with a soft giggle.

That's one thing he really about his deputy. She was always happy to help and was always able to cheer him up. A smile spread over his jaws as he felt a force push his shoulder. His large size though made it hard for the she-cat to actually move him and so he pretended to move himself and make it more dramatic. To return in a playful vengeance, he lifted his paw and aimed to poke her playfully in the side. "Well I need to be right because I wouldn't be able to be here if I wasn't." It was obvious that this tom wasn't good at, jokes, because what he just said was intended to be one. His green-blue eyes then flickered toward the light hued bengal, his maine coon fur becoming slightly ruffled in the cold breeze that swept through the area. Then at the questions she asked after telling her that he was stressed, he let a sigh escape his jaws. "I wish you could Retrostyle, but I don't think you will be able too. I'm worried about the clan and how there are so few of us. Even though leaf-bare is coming to a close, we don't have enough cats to watch the borders, so I'm afraid of invasion." It was easy for Risestar to speak his mind nowadays because if he didn't, he would probably end up talking to himself.

Sadly with her lithe and feather-weighed body, the exotic long legged bengal felt the poke feel like a slight push. She squeaked in a bit of surprise but she laughed as she smirked at him lightly as she would get him later. But she thought he was sweetly funny as she chuckled softly with her whiskers twitching slightly as she answered "I guess you're right. Again." Now she was the comedian here as Retrostyle then turned her intense yet patient gaze to her leader and best friend. She nodded slowly before raising a pale marked paw and scoffed "Rise! Don't worry. With you by our side, who would dare come walking to our territory? Were lucky to have you. I know there is few but we'll grow, Trust me, everything will get better." She smiled brightly as her paw gently dropped to his maine coon paw before she swiped it back to the ground as she felt sorry for her dear friend to have such stress.

The large Maine Coons ears pricked at the squeak he heard from the deputy and couldn't let the stress slip away from him. He was happy to have her as deputy and enjoyed her company. Then a smile spread across his facial features at the bengal. Risestar's pelt then seemed to get hot once her paw touched his, so then the thought came into his head. Did he like his very own deputy? Well at this moment his emotions were contridicting itself so he didn't even know. "Thank you so much Retro, I really appreciate that. I fear that some might not think of me like that because I was just recently made leader and some don't think I'm qualified." That made the smile swipe off of his face as he began to think of the cats that doubted him. What they didn't know, it only made him push harder to gain their trust

She already had fallen for her dear friend. She just tried to hide it and a cheerful spirit mostly hid those embarrassing feelings. She too felt her tempature rise when touching his paw. She hated feeling like this as she felt dreamy and light-headed. The slim bengal grinned softly but noticed him seem a bit down. Retrostyle purred "Rise. We needed someone young and new. We needed someone who was ready for the job. You, Rise were the perfect cat for that. I have complete faith in you that you'll leave a good mark in Thunderclan. Just wait." She inched slightly closer and stared up at him and felt comfortable around him although she felt her heart go a little faster. Stupid lovey dovey feelings.

The large and long furred Maine Coon let a smile spread over his jaws again as he turned his gaze back onto her bengal fur that stood out against the snow. His tail then decided to uncurl from around his paws and then wrap around the deputy. He knew he had feelings for her, and he hoped the she-cat would feel the same. "Then I made the right choice making you deputy." Risestar purred at the she-cat's words that escaped her jaws. Her spotted fur didn't really match well with his, but the color sure did as they were both a shade of brown. His blue-green eyes seemed to begin to gleam with what seemed like joy to everyone else. What most didn't know was that he was struggling with his emotions.

Her heartbeat seemed to turn into a race car motor as she felt his long furred tabby tail wrap around her slim streamlined body. She blinked in shock and felt her muscles tense up a bit but they soon relaxed and loosened and she happily settled herself beside him. With her short exotic marked fur mixing with his long soft one. She couldn't help but gently touch her nose to his chin as she snuggled closed to him with her heat mixing with his. She smiled and knew he did have feelings for her too. She felt so happy but didn't want to create a scene. "I love you." she purred as she felt so safe by him but knew his emotions. She knew he was confused and wished she could help him but this was his battle.

The long furred tom felt the she-cat tense at first and he felt as if he had done something wrong. He was about to pull away until he felt the she-cats nose resting gently across his chin. A deep purr rumbled deep in his chest as he moved his head and laid it gently across her muscular back. A chuckle escaped his jaws as his tail tapped the ground hearing the three wonderful words. "I love you too." It was somewhat weird having a leader loving his/her deputy, but he didn't care what others thought.
